A recent study found that nearly half of Americans allow pets to sleep in their beds, and 46% of those devoted animal lovers say they actually rest better with their four-legged friends beside them.

What the research didn’t capture: just how much bed hogging, blanket stealing, dream running and heavy snoring consumers endure, though about 20% did admit they “sleep worse” with a pet.

Maybe the dog needs his own bunk?

That’s the No. 1 suggestion from the data gatherer, the American Academy of Sleep Medicine, which recommends that fur parents “create a separate, comfortable sleeping space nearby for your pet as an alternative.”
