San Diego Agency Adding 2 Local Clients
LOS ANGELES–Matthews/Mark has picked up two new pieces of business that further diversify its client roster. Total billings for the new accounts are under $2 million.
First National Bank selected the San Diego shop late last month, after a review of area shops, according to John Cihomsky, M/M account supervisor. The agency’s public relations arm, Matthews/Mark/MacCracken/McGaugh, picked up public relations duties for the San Diego bank earlier this year. The client used local freelancers for its previous ad efforts.
Print ads for the seven-branch bank are scheduled to break later this month in local business publications. Cihomsky characterized the ads as “loud, with an attitude unlike traditional bank advertising.”
Separately, the agency has added ad duties for Premier Practice Management, a national physician practice management company, after another informal review of local agencies. The San Diego company previously handled ad duties in-house.
The agency will create trade print ads for the client to appear in Modern Health, Modern Physician and other medical trade publications.
Premier Practice Management forms alliances with hospitals and physicians to provide regional healthcare delivery systems. The company was established by Premier, one of the nation’s largest heathcare alliances.
