The Martin Agency Wins AXA Financial

ATLANTA — The Martin Agency has won AXA Financial’s advertising account.

The Richmond shop will handle strategic, creative and media-planning duties on the estimated $15-20 million account. AXA Financial, with some $481 billion in managed assets, is a subsidiary of AXA GRoup in Paris.

Earlier this year, TBWA/Chiat/Day in New York had been assigned the business — outdueling McCarthy Mambro Bertino in Boston. That deal, sources confirmed, broke down in contract negotiations, opening the door for Martin. New work is scheduled to appear this fall.
