Martell to Replace Slaughter at Tinsley

ATLANTA Tinsley Advertising has promoted Dorn Martell to executive vice president and creative director, the agency said.

Martell, 43, previously was a senior vice president and group creative director at the independent Miami shop. He has been with the agency for 10 years. He also has worked at D’Arcy Masius Benton & Bowles and Campbell-Ewald.

He replaces Russ Slaughter, who is retiring after 35 years in the ad business, the last 10 at Tinsley. Slaughter, 61, will remain at the agency until the middle of October and be available as a consultant after that.
