Even though its rainbow packaging already pops off the shelves of those stubborn impulse-buy racks at the grocery store, Mars Wrigley is giving consumers another reason to add a bag of Skittles to their shopping carts.

The candy’s new wrapper is sourced from the seeds of plants and is biodegradable in any environment. It’s one of the candy brands promising first steps toward its goal of 100% reusable, recyclable or compostable packaging by 2025.
