Mars Opens Offices on Coasts

Mars Advertising is expanding its presence on the coasts. The Southfield, Mich., advertising agency plans first-quarter openings of satellite offices in New York and San Francisco. The offices will service existing clients and pursue new business in those locations, said Mark Ja-cobs, the agency’s chief administrative officer.

The agency also has offices in Philadelphia, Columbus, Ohio, Salt Lake City and Los Angeles.

The New York office will be overseen by Melissa Misiak, who is transferring from Southfield and will serve as vice president, account director, brand marketing division.

Overseeing the San Francisco outpost is Siena Long, who joins Mars as senior vice president and director of growth and innovation, a new position.
