Acquisition, Alliance Cue Change in Miami
ATLANTA–E&F/Marc Advertising, formerly Evans & Fitzgerald, has changed its name to Marc USA/Miami.
The renaming of the Southeast regional headquarters of Pittsburgh-based Marc USA reflects two recent moves by the $30 million shop: the acquisition of Izard & Leone Advertising and a strategic alliance with public relations firm Winstead & Associates.
Division president Evan Contorakes said the Izard & Leone deal, closed at the end of 1999, contributed about $7 million in billings from clients like Esserman Automotive Group, BrandsMart USA and the University of Miami.
Both Mark Izard and Matt Leone have taken senior positions at the company.
“This is an ideal time to relaunch the agency with a new name,” Contorakes said.
