CHICAGO Amusement park operator Cedar Fair has named Marc as lead advertising agency for its Cedar Point and Geauga Lake & Wildwater Kingdom properties, according to the shop.

The independent shop in Pittsburgh won the estimated $5 million account after a review, according to an agency representative. The agency had previously handled the business from 1972-87.

“All entertainment venues, from movies to amusement parks, are facing increasing competition from virtual entertainment,” said Marc USA president and CEO Michele Fabrizi, in a statement.
