Mellon Financial Corp. has moved its estimated $12 million account to Marc Advertising without a review.
Mellon said last month it was splitting with Bozell Kamstra in Pittsburgh after 10 years with that agency. The shop’s contract expires in February.
“We felt we needed an agency with a wider range of capabilities under one roof,” said Ron Gruendl, a representative with the Pittsburgh-based financial services company. He declined to be more specific.
Marc, also based in Pittsburgh, had previous bank experience from work with a former client.
The account does not include Mellon-owned Dreyfuss mutual funds, which is represented by Holland Mark Edmund Ingalls in Boston.
