Management Shuffle at RMG Connect

NEW YORK RMG Connect, the interactive relationship marketing arm of JWT, said Hugh Allspaugh would replace Doug Rozen as managing director of its Chicago office.

Allspaugh, 41, comes to the WPP Group shop from Marketing Independence, a Chicago consulting firm he founded. He had previously spent eight years at Havas’ Euro RSCG in several roles; at one point, he oversaw the agency’s Citibank credit card account.

Rozen left RMG earlier this month after eight years at that shop and other units of JWT. He has joined Carlson Marketing, a Minneapolis-based company, as vice president of interactive marketing. Rozen reports to Andy Wright, executive vice president of sales and marketing services.

At RMG, Allspaugh will report to Philip Greenfield, the agency’s CEO. RMG clients include Shell, HSBC, Unilever and Nestle. It provides various direct and interactive marketing services.

“We are poised for growth strategically, creatively and across all channels where we can connect with consumers,” said Allspaugh.

Rozen said he left RMG for the challenge of growing Carlson’s interactive practice into a full-service offering. He plans to add creative and media services to the Internet loyalty programs Carlson already offers to clients like the AARP, Home Depot and Revolution Health.

“They have decent Web presence,” he said. “There’s an opportunity globally to link it all together.”
