Award-winning art director Steve Luker has left Omnicom’s Goodby, Silverstein & Partners, the shop confirmed. The reasons for the abrupt split were unclear; neither Luker nor the agency would comment. Luker returned to the San Francisco shop last year from Publicis’ Publicis & Hal Riney in San Francisco. At Goodby, he oversaw creative on the $380 million Hewlett-Packard business with partner and creative director Steve Simpson. Luker first worked at Goodby in the 1990s, leaving in 1998.
