Luana Floccuzio, formerly managing director and executive vice president at the now-defunct N.W. Ayer & Partners office here, has joined a New York PR firm.

Floccuzio took the new post of partner and chief operating officer at Dan Klores Communications.

After many years with General Motors, Floccuzio joined Bcom3-owned Ayer in 1999 and stayed there until the office folded late last year. The shutdown came several months after GM moved its $30 million corporate assignment to McCann-Erickson.
