NEW YORK After eliminating The Wolf Group from its review last week, Edward Jones has stopped short of awarding its $25-30 million account to co-finalist Kirshenbaum Bond + Partners here, sources said.

The St. Louis-based brokerage is instead seeking out alternatives, perhaps reopening the review to previously eliminated shops, sources said. No decision will be made until next year, following another round of creative presentations in January, said consultant Randy Lindel. The client was expected to pick a shop at the end of October.
