NEW YORK Dan Lindau has been named chairman of the 14th annual Association of Independent Commercial Producers show, the Art & Technique of the American Television Commercial.

Lindau, 47, owner and partner of Crossroads Films, founded the firm in 1989 to connect non-commercial directors with commercial projects. Its roster of directors includes Mark Pellington, Tim Pope and Jesse Peretz. He will oversee the 35-person AICP committee that develops the programming for the show.

The AICP show, which has been held at the Metropolitan Museum of Art since the Museum of Modern Art underwent construction in 2001, returns to MoMa this year, where it was established in 1992.
