NEW YORK Lifetime Television next week teams up with advertisers, politicians, activists and celebrities to launch its second annual “Stop Violence Week,” the cable network said.

A series of events begins on March 3, when all members of Congress will have received ties and scarves designed by Liz Claiborne that advocate anti-violence.
