CHICAGO–Leo Burnett has created a new unit to handle direct and database duties as well as consumer research.

The Leo Burnett Customer Group will handle many of the duties formerly at Burnett’s NorthStar direct and database unit, which will no longer exist.

The unit will be led by Peter Steinhauser, a member of Leo Burnett’s U.S. operating board. Bob Price, who was most recently creative director of direct marketing at M&C/Saatchi, Asia/Pacific, will be executive creative director of LBCG.
