LehmanMillet Makes Senior Staff Addition

BOSTON LehmanMillet has tapped Ronald Rosenberg, a former technology reporter at The Boston Globe, as manager of public and professional relations, the agency said.

“For years I followed Ron Rosenberg’s reporting when he covered the biotech beat for the Globe, and felt extremely fortunate when he wrote about our agency’s clients,” said Sandy Bodner, a vice president at the Boston-based independent, to whom Rosenberg reports.

“It’s a real victory for our clients to bring someone into their planning circle that combines an in-depth knowledge of the marketplace with an insider’s understanding of the local and national media,” Bonder said.

Most recently, Rosenberg worked as a freelancer for several Boston-based PR firms including Feinstein Kean and Morrissey & Co. Rosenberg is best known for his 21-year career at the Globe, where he covered the biotechnology, high-technology and venture capital industries. After leaving the newspaper, Rosenberg spent a year at Pfizer as an editor of The Pipeline, the internal daily Web-based publication at the company’s global research and development headquarters.

“Since leaving journalism and going to ‘the other side,’ said Rosenberg in a statement. “I have had a chance to take a hard look at the significant challenges facing the biomedical industry. Changing the practice patterns of physicians is among the greatest. A chance to address that type of challenge is what attracted me to LehmanMillet.”
