Laughlin/Constable here picked up the estimated $1-3 million account of sunglasses marketer Gargoyles thanks to a relationship with Nicole Junod, the company’s general manager, who formerly worked at L/C client Wolverine World Wide.
The Kent, Wash.-based company’s advertising has most recently been handled by freelancers. Gargoyles previously worked with Seattle shop McFarland Richards and Graf, selected following a review in November 1996.
Gargoyles sunglasses scored a promotional coup by being the shades of choice for Arnold Schwarzenegger’s character in The Terminator.
