Lanmark Promotes McCarthy

Michael McCarthy has progressed to chief creative officer at the Lanmark Group in Eatontown, N.J. In his new position, McCarthy will be responsible for leading all efforts in the agency’s creative division. He will provide creative leadership for major accounts that include Johnson & Johnson, Wm. Wrigley Jr. Co., Darby Group Cos. and DentalEZ. This is McCarthy’s second promotion in his four-year tenure at the shop. He previously held the positions of director of marketing and vice president of marketing. For the past 16 years, McCarthy has gained experience in the marketing, public relations and advertising professions. While employed at Eli Lilly during the 1980s, he assumed a substantial role in the launch of the antidepressant prescription drug Prozac. In the late 1990s, McCarthy owned and operated an interactive agency in New York.
