Amazon workers in Alabama have voted against unionizing, but the Retail, Wholesale and Department Store Union (RWDSU) is demanding a hearing to potentially throw out the results, as well as an investigation into Amazon’s actions, which it says amounts to union busting.

Of the reported 3215 ballots cast, 1,798 employees voted no while 738 voted in favor of the union.

A representative for the RWDSU said Amazon challenged 505 ballots. But according to CNBC, those votes would only have been counted if the margin between uncontested ballots had been closer.

In a blog post, Amazon thanked employees for participating in the election and used the opportunity to point out less than 16% of employees voted to unionize.
