Kupper Parker Agrees to Acquire Christopher Thomas

Kupper Parker Communications has signed a letter of intent to buy Christopher Thomas Associates, a marketing communications agency. Twenty-six-year-old Christopher Thomas has offices in Boston, Stamford, Conn. and Melville, N.Y.

“We will gain in-house public relations and Web capabilities,” said Leo Rice, president of Christopher Thomas’ Boston office, of the pending deal. Terms were not disclosed.

Once the deal closes in April, Christopher Thomas COO Chris Santry will become president of KPC East, a new operating division of St. Louis-based Kupper Parker. The 55-person agency itself will be renamed KPC Christopher Thomas. Clients include Fallon Healthcare, New England Medical Center, and Weetabix, a cereal company.
