Kim Returns to Organic in VP Role

NEW YORK Organic said James Kim would rejoin the agency as vice president of strategy at its Detroit office.

The Omnicom Group interactive shop welcomed Kim back from Digitas’ Modem Media, where he was vice president of marketing for six months, working on the Microsoft account. He worked at Organic’s San Francisco from 1999 until earlier this year in strategic roles, most recently as group director of strategy.

Kim, 38, will work mostly on Organic’s key DaimlerChrysler account, which was a major lure back to the agency, in addition to the opportunity to focus solely on interactive work, he said.
