Kilgannon Drops McReynolds From Name

ATLANTA Kilgannon McReynolds has changed its name, striking the McReynolds reference, the shop said.

Now known as Kilgannon, the independent Atlanta shop also has a new logo.

The shop began as The Kilgannon Group, a database marketing company, in 1988 with Rena Kilgannon as the principal. Rick McReynolds, a brand consultant, joined the shop in 1997 and the agency added a creative department. McReynolds retired in 2002.

The shop’s current senior officers are Kilgannon, the shop’s president; Mike Reineck, CFO; and Chris Schlegel, creative director.
