LOS ANGELES A Nike spot featuring home-movie footage of Tiger Woods golfing as a youngster integrated with modern tournament clips broke last night during the Major League Baseball All-Star Game, according to the agency.

The 60-second “Kid Tiger,” from independent Wieden + Kennedy, Portland, Ore., depicts the young Woods grinning and strutting unselfconsciously on the links at St. Andrews, Scotland, as he drives, chips and putts beyond his years. A characteristic British announcer covers the fictitious event.
