Kia Hires New Marketing Chief

LOS ANGELES–After months without a marketing head, Kia Motors America has hired Peter Butterfield as executive vice president of sales, marketing and fixed operations.

Butterfield, 48, replaces Dick Macedo, who retired in April. He starts on Nov. 1 and reports to B.M. Ahn, Kia’s president and CEO.

Butterfield was recently assigned to Lincoln-Mercury after spending 11 years with Volvo.
