WASHINGTON, D.C. Sen. John Kerry courts Hispanic voters in a new spot launched on Friday. It focuses on recognizing Latinos who have served in the military.

The 30-second ad will air in Arizona, Colorado, Nevada, New Mexico and Ohio for the next two weeks and is part of a larger media buy the Kerry campaign will kick off next week.

In the spot, a voiceover says, “John Kerry knows that in Washington, the World War II Memorial is a monument to soldiers with names such as Garcia, Chavez and Ortiz.
