Keiler Turns to Pikul for New Business

BOSTON Keiler & Co. has named Liv Pikul business development manager, a new post at the independent 80-person agency in Farmington, Conn.

Pikul has been with Keiler for two years as a business analyst and she now takes over duties that had been spread out among the five managing partners of the agency.

“Because new business has become so highly competitive, the ‘shoot from the hip’ style of presentation has been replaced by those which are more business relevant,” said agency managing partner Mel Maffei. “Liv has a strong educational background in marketing and management. She began at Keiler as a consultant, therefore she understands brand issues and the strategic considerations involved in marketing. Plus, she has the skills and strategic background to get into and understand a business quickly.”

Focused primarily in the business-to-business arena, Keiler’s billings have held steady in recent years at an estimated $65-70 million. The agency works for clients such as Deloitte & Touche, Lockheed Martin and Honeywell.
