LOS ANGELES Washington State’s Department of Health has launched a campaign for its Tobacco Quit Line aimed at encouraging smokers to continue efforts to quit.

Created by Interpublic Group’s Sedgwick Rd. in Seattle, the campaign includes two 30-second TV spots that show people struggling to master difficult feats. In “Bull Rider,” a nervous-looking man attempts to ride a bull but repeatedly gets thrown off. A woman in a cowboy hat delivers the lines, “Learning anything takes practice.
