BOSTON Five shops have emerged in the review for the creative portion of Baskin-Robbins’ advertising account.

The contenders are: Interpublic Group’s Mullen in Wenham, Mass., and Hill, Holliday, Connors, Cosmopulous in Boston; MDC Partners’ Kirshembaum Bond + Partners and Omnicom Group’s TBWA\Chiat\Day, both in New York; and independent incumbent VitroRobertson in San Diego, according to a client representative.

Presentations will take place at the beginning of May. A decision is expected by mid-May, the rep said.
