Kansas City Royals fans will be able to interact with augmented reality technology during home games at Kauffman Stadium during the 2023 baseball season, thanks to a partnership between the team and fan-engagement platform ARound.

ARound’s Crown Vision AR platform will allow the venue’s 38,000 attendees to access a shared AR experience on their smartphones that updates in real time during games. For instance, a fireworks effect will be triggered after a home run. The AR experience is available through the ARound Stadium app, which can be downloaded for free on iOS and Android devices.
