A former evp of Just For Feet last week was sentenced to 20 months in prison for an advertising billings scheme that involved Converse, Adidas, Fila and Logo Athletic. In the scheme, the SEC alleged, Don-Allen Ruttenberg asked the shoe companies to sign fraudulent letters claiming they owed JFF $5 million in co-op advertising in order to misrepresent JFF’s revenue to the SEC.
