Jordan Teams With McAuliffe, Norick

DALLAS Jordan Associates Advertising/Communications has formed a strategic alliance with McAuliffe, Norick & Associates, the shops said.

The two Oklahoma City-based agencies will provide resources and services to each other. McAuliffe, a four-person shop, will have access to Jordan’s media and creative capabilities. In exchange, McAuliffe principals Ron Norick, a former Oklahoma City mayor, and Mike McAuliffe, an ad veteran, will participate in Jordan’s business development efforts.

Jordan representative Peggy Sealy said the two principals would help Jordan “identify prospects for new business and may call on prospects.” She said they might also participate in new-business pitches.

“We feel like it’s a good blend of who we know and what we know,” Sealy said. “[McAuliffe and Norick] called us to talk about working together on some of their accounts and as the discussions went on it became obviously this could be a mutually beneficial relationship.”

In addition, Jordan, a 60-person shop, recently picked up four new pieces of business. One is the $9 million marketing and media services account of the St. Louis-area markets of Hardee’s. Jordan already handles work for Hardee’s in 19 states.

The agency has also been awarded advertising duties for Diagnostic Laboratory of Oklahoma and Carneco Foods, both in Oklahoma City, and Neurosmith Education Toys in Long Beach, Calif. The account wins came without reviews.
