AA Publishing in Fort Worth, Texas, has named Ben Johnson managing director and group head in charge of AAP Custom, the group’s business development unit. Johnson is the former publishing director at CoStar Group, where he directed the firm’s national e-newsletter publishing operation. Before that, he worked for eight years in the creative and account service ranks at The Richards Group in Dallas, Miller Advertising in New York and as a principal in his own agency, Johnson-Sullivan.
