Direct juror Joel Sobelson often finds himself pointing out that direct marketing is much more than just a mailer. “Ideas are the basis of any good direct marketing campaign and that has everything to do with what we are looking for at Cannes,” says Sobelson, 47, executive vice president, chief creative officer at WPP Group’s Wunderman in New York.
