LOS ANGELES–Jim Noble, executive creative director of BBDO Atlanta, resigned his post on Wednesday, sources said. Noble, who joined the Atlanta-based shop in February 2001 after serving as creative director at GMO/Hill, Holliday in San Francisco, is planning to open an agency in Lake Tahoe, Nev.

Noble’s resignation stemmed from creative differences with the shop’s president and CEO, Chris Hall, sources said. Although neither Noble nor Hall could be reached for comment at press time, a recorded greeting on Noble’s voice mail at BBDO confirmed that he is leaving Friday, April 19, and plans to set up shop in Lake Tahoe beginning in June.
