BOSTON–JetBlue Airways is “talking to a few vendors” about both its creative and media assignments and is looking to finalize its agency roster by Sept. 19, the date its contract with Arnold comes to an end, said client representative Gareth Edmondson-Jones.

The Kew Gardens, N.Y.-based carrier is seeking “more control [and] reduced costs” and is considering agencies far smaller than Boston’s Arnold, where JetBlue was one of the shop’s smallest clients. Edmondson-Jones said.

JetBlue has spent $4 million on ads so far this year, per CMR.
