Young & Rubicam has recruited SapientNitro’s Jane Barratt to run the agency’s flagship New York office as president.
Barratt, managing director of SapientNitro in New York, replaces Shelley Diamond, who had been New York managing director since 2007.
Diamond will now focus exclusively on her other role as a global client leader on accounts such as Xerox, Campbell Soup and Dell. “Serving clients is her strong suit and it’s what she loves,” said Tom Sebok, Y&R’s North American CEO.
