It’s time for Los Angeles ad agencies to tune out their work and plug in their guitars.

On Aug. 8, five local shops will live out their rock ‘n’ roll dreams at Adjam. This ninth annual battle of the bands is the brainchild of AD2LA, a junior division of the Advertising Club of Los Angeles and a professional networking association for ad folks ages 30 and under.

The competing shops this year are scheduled to be The Phelps Group, TBWA\Chiat\Day, Dailey & Associates, Rubin Postaer and Associates and ikm.
