E! Online, the joint venture between E! Entertainment Network and CNET, is spinning off a new Web site, Moviefinder (www.moviefinder.com). The site will compete with Starwave’s Mr. Showbiz and Times Mirror’s Hollywood Online for studio advertising dollars.





The site is a mega-database for movie listings, recommendations and sales for films on TV, in theaters and on video.
