Investment company Internet Capital Group (ICG), Wayne, Pa., will make a $30 million investment in BuyMedia.com of Burlingame, Calif. BuyMedia.com is an online marketplace for buying advertising on television and radio. This marks ICG’s first investment in the media industry.
Pet goods e-tailer PetPlanet.com inked an exclusive e-commerce, advertising and programming agreement with lesbian and gay affinity portal Gay.com, both San Francisco. The partnership will establish PetPlanet.com as Gay.com’s exclusive Internet pet supply, services and products e-tailer and pet content provider.
