-Integrated marketing company Xceed, New York, launched a majority-owned e-commerce site,, offering gift certificates from different consumer outlets. Vendors include Torneau, Lillian Vernon, The Sharper Image, K B Toys, Omaha Steaks and Hyatt Hotels. Xceed has also formed a marketing alliance with online -commerce community, which will tout the GiftArcade launch through an e-mail promotion to its 500,000 members.

-24/7 Media, New York, signed a multi-year exclusive agreement with, Pasadena, Calif., calling for the search engine to become part of The 24/7 Network’s search/directory channel. The site will initially deliver 50 million page views to 24/7 and will expand its offering of search keywords., New York, an online movie superstore, launched, a site devoted to movies appealing to the pre-teen set. The new site provides ratings and movie descriptions from Dr. Eveline Carsman, author of Children’s Video Review Newsletter, combined with the Kids First! age-ratings system, an endorsement program of the Coalition for Quality Children’s Media.

-Lycos, Waltham, Mass., and Los Angeles-based 1-800-U.S.Search inked a two-year advertising and promotion agreement estimated at $5 million to provide users of Lycos services with the ability to conduct searches through the Public Records Portal Under the terms of the deal, 1-800-U.S.Search will be the exclusive public records re-seller on Lycos. Lycos users will be able to access 1-800U.S.Search through keyword searches and a variety of links., San Jose, Calif., is helping wannabe techies shop for items emblazoned with high-tech corporate logos. The new site sells shirts, hats and wristwatches from companies including Netscape, Hewlett-Packard, Infoseek, Dell, National Semiconductors, and the GO Network.
