North American CEO Jacki Kelley has left IPG Mediabrands after just 15 months in the position for a new role at parent company Interpublic Group.

Kelley's move swiftly follows Microsoft's decision to split its global creative and media business (collectively worth nearly $100 million in annual review) between IPG (creative) and Dentsu (media). Media planning and buying shifted from IPG's UM and Publicis Groupe's MediaVest to units of Dentsu Aegis.

"Given Jacki's role in the overall IPG Microsoft win, [IPG CEO] Michael Roth has asked that she move to IPG and lead the on-boarding process as well as support other global client needs of the IPG network," explained Matt Seiler, global CEO of IPG Mediabrands.
