Integrating Edwards, Bradley

Mintz & Hoke Adds Pair, Broadens Services
BOSTON–Mintz & Hoke has appointed Diane Edwards director of integrated communications and brought public relations executive Tom Bradley back for his third stint at the midsized agency.
Offering clients integrated services “is the reality of the marketplace today,” said Mintz & Hoke president Chris Knopf. “Somebody has to keep an eye on the ball and keep it all together.”
Edwards, a 14-year Mintz & Hoke employee who has been serving as public relations director, will work to foster a team environment and ensure that every department supports a single strategy developed for each client.
The Avon, Conn., agency already strives to offer integrated services, Edwards said, citing the cooperation between the shop’s advertising and pr units for its ongoing Ames campaign.
Bradley takes over for Edwards as head of the seven-member public relations department. He began his career at the agency a decade ago, but left to work at the Connecticut Economic Resource Center.
He returned in the mid-’90s to help manage the public relations staff, but left again two years ago to work as a vice president of public relations at O’Neal & Prelle in Hartford, Conn.
“He keeps improving his position each time he comes back,” Knopf said. “Maybe that’s his strategy.”
