DALLAS Affirmative Insurance Holdings, a provider of non-standard auto insurance policies in targeted markets, has hired creative and media agencies after a review, the company said.

Southwest Media Group will handle media planning and buying duties for AIH, said SMG chief executive Bob Nichol.

Calise and Sedei, which won creative duties, has already begun production of new TV spots for the client. The agency said it would also produce radio, outdoor, point-of-sale and direct response ads.

AIH owns several retail insurance brands across the country including A-Affordable Insurance in Texas, InsureOne in Illinois, Missouri and Indiana, Driver’s Choice in South Carolina, Yellow Key in Missouri and FedUSA in Florida.
