Goldberg Moser O’Neill in San Francisco resigned the estimated $8-10 million account last month, after handling it for about a year.
“Infoseek hopes to pick a new agency by the end of this summer,” said Infoseek representative David Hawk. “They are in discussions now with several agencies, and could make a final decision as early as [this month].”
The selected agency will create broadcast and print work as well as some interactive advertising.
The Santa Clara, Calif.-based company’s recent financial and internal troubles were the key reasons why GMO resigned the account, sources said.
