WASHINGTON The Association of National Advertisers and the American Association of Advertising Agencies on Tuesday said they oppose the FAIR Ratings Act, which would make Media Rating Council accreditation mandatory for all TV ratings services. The U.S. Senate Commerce Committee is holding a hearing on the bill tomorrow.

The ANA said it came to its position after polling its committee members, a majority of whom oppose the legislation.
