More than a year after the pandemic began, Amazon continues to lead as the world’s most valuable brand.

With lockdown restrictions in place to slow the Covid-19 outbreak, ecommerce went into overdrive, alongside online streaming and grocery sales, three areas Amazon has been building over the course of its existence as it moves towards global domination in those sectors.

The annual Kantar BrandZ Most Valuable Global Brands 2021 ranking, which highlights the growth of the world’s most visible companies by brand value, was predictably dominated by the major tech companies.
