Impossible Foods, continuing to expand its product lineup and trying to leapfrog other plant-based competitors, is launching faux pork in the U.S., just weeks after debuting its first chicken-less poultry.

Impossible Pork, premiering today, is a different product than the brand’s existing sausage alternative that’s sold at grocery stores nationally and in breakfast sandwiches at chains like Starbucks.

The new ground pork product, which had a high-profile intro at 2020’s Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas, will initially drop at a single location—David Chang’s Momofuku Ssäm Bar in New York.

By partnering again with Chang, Impossible leans into its longstanding relationship with the celebrity chef, who has been a prime mover for the brand’s flagship burgers and chicken-free nuggets.
