BOSTON — Furniture retailer Ikea has asked seven shops to make capabilities presentations for its estimated $30-40 million account.

Agencies invited are Berlin Cameron & Partners and Kirshenbaum Bond & Partners, both in New York; Crispin Porter + Bogusky, Miami; Fallon, Minneapolis; and three San Francisco shops: Black Rocket, Goodby, Silverstein & Partners and TBWA\Chiat\Day.

The Plymouth Meeting, Pa., client is looking to replace Carmichael Lynch, Minneapolis. Pile and Co., Boston, the consulting company, is overseeing the pitch.
