IBM has named software marketing veteran Carla Piñeyro Sublett as senior vice president and chief marketing officer.

Cited by IBM for her past work in revamping the brand focus for companies such as National Instruments and Rackspace, Sublett will now be charged with running all global marketing and brand initiatives.

The job involves managing IBM’s client feedback by maintaining the company’s Net Promoter Score. Sublett also has direct oversight of Big Blue’s demand generation business.
